South Padre is everything you’d expect from a touristy beach town. Lots of brightly colored souvior shops with kitschy items that both kids loved, tiny bathing suits, funny (and risqué) T-shirt’s, and giant fish complete neon and flashing lights.

Point Lobos State Natural Reserve - California
It turned out to be one of the best decisions of the trip. Maybe it was the time of day; the setting sun working it's golden hour magic, the ocean so clear and so blue, the wildlife, the flora, everything about this stretch of coastline was incredible.
