My favorite random spot we came across was Baby Head Cemetery. We drove by and then had to turn around when I realized what the sign said.
We had just enough time to wander around the cemetery, watching the clouds roll in, and stop along the seawall before the rain started. It was fierce and fast and once it started we headed north.
There's a lot of personality here and I loved the unique headstones. I loved the little bits of story and reading about the person's life. One of my favorites had Give life the best that's in you for it's only a one night stand there are no repeat performances brought back by popular demand.
Cemeteries are always quiet, under sun or grey skies, whether the markers are decaying stone or wood.
