My Favorite Photos of 2017
2017 brought so many magical moments and as I started to go through photos it was hard to narrow down what I wanted to share. This isn't even half of what I loved but it's a good place to start. We spent a lot of time traveling and shared adventures of all kinds. And there were countless sassy sweet moments with my children. I had the honor of photographing a very dear friend's pregnancy announcement. I did portraits of my stunning sister-in-law. There were bird masks and bubbles and red thread and sunrises in Death Valley. It was busy in the best way possible.
Darrell and I went some really amazing places this year. I'm so thankful for each adventure and there are more than a few travel photos as a result. We wouldn't have ended up back in California without me second shooting for Robyn and I'm incredibly grateful to get to work with someone so talented, do something I love, and travel too.
I don't really have a top favorite destination on this list. Or if I do, they're all my favorites equally. And as I started to look through 2017 I found so many of Graham and Sloan that I love, making it almost impossible to pick just a few. They’ve grown so much and Graham will be five in a few days which I still can’t believe. I’m so glad I’ve been able to document all the small changes along the way.
I’m excited to see what the next year will bring and to share those new things with the friends and family I love best. Whatever your year held, where ever you're going next, I hope it's all beautiful and crazy happy.
These are just a few of the spots that made it on the list - there are plenty more that I haven't gotten around to blogging about yet.
Muir Woods National Monument - this post is from our 2016 trip but soon I'll have one up for our 2017 visit
Metairie Cemetery - New Orleans, Louisiana
Point Lobos State Natural Reserve - California
